2024 HVACR in Chile

Sanhe Refrigeration Makes Its Debut at HVAC CHILE 2024 — A First Step into the South American Market

For a company that’s spent years building its name in refrigeration and HVAC, stepping into a brand-new continent always feels like day one all over again. That was exactly the case for Ningbo Sanhe Refrigeration Co., Ltd. when we set up Booth 14-1 at HVAC CHILE 2024 — our first time in Chile, and our first exhibition on South American soil.

There’s a certain energy that comes with entering a market for the first time, and honestly, we felt it long before the event started. The weeks leading up to the show were packed with market research, digging into what Chilean buyers look for in refrigeration accessories, how local HVAC systems differ from what we’re used to, and which replacement parts tend to move fastest in the region. We knew showing up without that groundwork wouldn’t cut it.

What We Brought to the Table

We didn’t travel light. Our display covered the product categories that matter most to HVAC professionals on the ground — refrigeration accessories, refrigeration containers, and a full spread of replacement parts spanning refrigerator parts, air conditioner parts, and washing machine parts. The idea was simple: whether a visitor needed a single component for a quick repair or was sourcing parts for a larger system build, we wanted them to find something useful at our booth.

That breadth is something we’ve worked hard on. Rather than niching down too tightly, Sanhe has built its catalog around the reality that our customers often deal with multiple appliance types across different systems. An integrated refrigeration solution, in our view, means covering those overlaps without forcing buyers to jump between five different suppliers.

On the Ground in Santiago

Once the doors opened, things moved fast. We had clients walk in from Chile, sure, but also Peru, Argentina, and a handful of other neighboring countries. The conversations weren’t the polite, surface-level kind either — people got straight into specs, compatibility questions, lead times, minimum orders. That directness was refreshing, and it told us we’d done our homework right.

Some of the best discussions happened around our refrigeration containers and how they fit into cold chain setups that are still maturing in parts of South America. Other visitors zeroed in on our air conditioner parts, particularly components suited to split systems common across the region. A few came looking for washing machine parts, which caught us a little off guard, but that’s the nature of a first exhibition — you learn what people actually want, not just what you think they want.

What We’re Taking Away

We walked out of HVAC CHILE with a stack of contacts, a much sharper picture of South American demand, and a few lessons that only come from doing the real thing. Booth layout tweaks we’d make next time. Sample selections that could have been more targeted. Small stuff, but it adds up.

More importantly, the connections we made are already turning into ongoing conversations. That’s the point, isn’t it? Exhibitions aren’t about handing out brochures — they’re about finding people you can build something with over the long haul.

This first step into Chile won’t be our last in the region. Ningbo Sanhe Refrigeration is committed to growing its global footprint, and HVAC CHILE gave us exactly the kind of unfiltered market exposure you can’t get from a desk. If you’re sourcing refrigeration accessories, HVAC components, or appliance replacement parts and want to pick up where one of those Santiago conversations left off — reach out anytime.
